Summer is upon us and Jenny and I have gathered up our favorite U&M finds for the warm weather. Wherever you may be traveling these will come in handy to throw together a quick, chic beach ensemble. I’ve taken off on a 3 week trip to Florida, the Bahamas, our favorite little summer town in Nonquitt, Massachusetts and finished up the trip with 3 outstanding nights with friends in Quogue, NY. It was a whirlwind of fun travel and some of these staples I wore daily. Jenny has been burning up the roads all over the South visiting family and friends from Florida to North Carolina and everywhere in between. Needless to say, we have covered the other coast this summer and have loved gathering and using our summer essentials along the way. We will return to San Francisco to our Indian summer and can’t wait to use them there!
I have tried more and more to be better about the sun, and it’s safe to say my Filuhat I bought at Found by Maja in San Francisco provided the perfect coverage (and not to mention tons of compliments!). When in Florida, I found these awesome sunglasses made by Knockaround at the PB Boys Club (for kids and adults) that are inexpensive, great quality and downright cool. My kids have been living in them all Summer long. My great friend Jen Hinton, also Creative Director and Co-Founder of Carve Designs, introduced me not only to her awesome new line of rash guards by Carve but also a fab boho beach tote I had to get my hands on made by Epice Bags from Paris.
The beach is always better with a few staples to complete your look.
